Learning and Knowledge Management

CSF is of the view that the richest learning opportunities reside at the community level where a wide range of CSOs will be implementing activities in diverse social and political contexts. This diversity presents many opportunities for learning, from successes and failures alike.
Aspects addressed as part of the learning function of CSF are:
  • Sharing of evidence/results that can inform adaptive management and the application of best practices which have been identified
  • Identification of “failures and successes” as learning opportunities
  • Identification of knowledge gaps that may need to be addressed during project implementation
  • Ensuring the wide/external sharing of knowledge to generate interest in, and support for, the CSF programme
