Our approach
CSF applies a participatory approach towards organisational capacity strengthening. As a point of departure for capacity development we take into account the needs identified by the CSOs themselves. Each CSO’s organisational capacity priorities is informed by a participatory Organisation Capacity Assessment and a tailored Organisation Capacity Development Plan which allows the CSO to own the process and determine its individual growth trajectory.
CSF uses comprehensive organisational capacity development approaches that are holistic and flexible, balancing short-term goals and long-term capacity development objectives, and leveraging opportunities offered by local capacity development service providers from civil society itself and the private sector.
